I've recently been scheduling author interviews for the site up through January 2009 and am completely awed by how many people have actually sat down, written a book, and had it published.
CONGRATULATIONS!
As someone who walks around narrating a debut novel in her head, I realize how extremely time consuming and how hard it is to actually write a book that a company is willing to publish. Working with all these authors has shown me that perseverance really does pay off.
I'll admit, it scares me a little too! There are so many great books out there waiting around on a shelf for someone to pick them up and love them - how can a regular ol' person like myself ever hope to join the ranks? Maybe that's just an excuse for me not to give it a real go and hopefully the old adage "there's something for everyone" will ring true in this instance.
Anybody struggling out there to get published? What do you find to be the biggest challenge?
Anybody out there who was published with ease? What was your best selling point?
